Ah, so you wrote the article? I guess we're "praying for mercy" on YOUR soul then, huh? Do you always talk about yourself in the third person?
It just annoys me that people submit things to slashdot that they wrote. If it was any good don't you think someone else would submit it? Just my opinion....
While I agree Dvorak writes sometimes just to get more hits/attention, sometimes he has a decent point
About the iBook handle, I actually saw him on some TechTV talkshow shortly after it came out and he was praising the unique design and he liked the handle for personal use. However, he said the look and style were a detriment to serious office use, something I think we can all agree on.:)
Thanks guys for the replies! I think I'll pick up a copy, unfortunately (or maybe fortunately:p), there is no Microcenter near me.
I need some help on the CLI/Unix side of OSX, so this sounds like a good starting pointing.
The guy seems pretty cool, I might have to check out his OSX Missing Manual next time I'm at B&N. Can anyone comment on if the book is any good?
Has WIlliam J even used OSX?

Has the submitter even used OSX? I've been using it daily since October and it has only crashed on me once. The majority of OSX users do not rebooted their Macs, they just put them to sleep. Remeber, Macs have instant wake-up from sleep, unlike Windows or Linux.
OSX uptime is typcially measured in weeks, not days.
Aren't G4's primary use from Motorola for embedded devices? I think this would make it very easy for the chips to fit into a small space with low power consumption and low heat.
If Apple decides to go after this market it should not be difficult for them to fit 4 chips in a 1U case.
BTW, all you guys posting the Marathon links, did you even read the article? They state the Marathon cases only allow 80 processors per rack, where comparable PC cases allow 160 processors.
It's a 10% restocking fee, not 15%.
