How can you call USA "a democratic country" when you don't have freedom of speech?
Perhaps you should spend more time doing your homework and less time posting braindead drivel on slashdot.
1) The US is a democratic republic, not a democracy. A democracy is 2 wolves and one sheep voting on whats for dinner.
2) The first amendment prevents congress from passing laws abridging speech rights. It doesn't prevent individuals (or companies) from filing libel/slander lawsuits. In this particular case, the defendent was (allegedly) served with a summons to appear in court, but didn't show up. The judge found in favor of the plaintiff by default. The same way your 3rd grade teacher will give you an F when you don't do your homework.
I saw the movie Collateral Damage last night -- The Arnold S. movie about a fireman seeking vengeance on a Columbian terrorist that was postponed for obvious reasons.
One scene near the end has the villian using a Palm IIIc (IIRC) with map software to navigate the tunnels beneath some capital building. He had it hooked up to his motorcycle, and presumably with a gps, as it was showing him where he was in real time.
In the old days, the McOffice port was an after thought. Word 5.0 for macintosh was universally acclaimed, but Word 98 would make rational people wonder if it wasn't intentionally crippled.
Currently, MS has a separate group to deal with the Macintosh software, and instead of being a port, it's been forked and made macintosh native. Offize X doesn't match office XP feature for feature - it lacks some, makes up for it in others, is carbonized, and, having used both, seems slicker.
forwarding as in *@yourdomain.com is sent to joeblow@earthlink.net. I suspect it's more a matter of incompetence/stupidity at rr, and they'll probably change their spam prevention systems due to complaints.

No offense, but OSNews has a commenting system, so why post comments about their article here?
