NOBODY forces you to use GPL'd software. The GPL does not incorprate RMS's view of IP in general - rather it is a legal document. By complaining about it what you are really saying is that yopu want to use other people's software under conditions other than those that its authors have laid down. That sounds like plain old theft to me.
