believe me- this system does not work.
Putting money on players heads doesnt convince them not to PK- it attracts them- it says "I'm on top of the Murderer board".
I was Public Enemy number 1 for quite a while on the UO server I was on- when I had enough money on my head, I logged into UO on another computer- killed myself and took the head in for the bounty. Then resurrected- took the stat-loss and started working my char again. Within a couple of days i was back in form to PK again.
Believe me- there is nothing more amusing than killing a bunch of people on your own- with them complaining because they feel Im "evil" I should somehow let them kill me because they are good..

Could not agree more, I've met RMS, and heard him speak- he flipped out when people mentioned open source. He got really nasty- and extremely child like. He got extremely agitated- apparently because he had been asked to speak about something other than his current baby project- and continuously said things like: "I wanted to talk about XXXXXX but HE (Points to organiser) wanted me to talk about other stuff..". He slammed anyone that asked any questions- and definitely gave you the impression that he saw himself as above everyone- and they should just accept it.
RMS as any kind of spokesperson is probably the least wise decision I can think of.
The real question- is how many pro-OSS'ers agree?
