It all depends on the person, not what the study says. If net use interferes with other activities in your life (yes, there are other activites) or simply you're not happy then you can consider it bad for you. It might be 12 hours/day or less, everybody is different.
If you're happy in front of that computer and in peace, I don't think a study should tell you to get off that machine.
