Yes, that would be WWII Online. The terrain data is half scale, so towns are closer than they would be in real life. Right now there are over 650 different cities modeled, and that's only covering a portion of the entire European Theater.

The shots in the last video weren't on the shuttle itself, but in the nose of the solid rocket boosters. The large disk with all the bolts on "floor" is the igniter that starts the booster on ignition.
For some great pictures of the shuttle at various stages of processing, check out Kim Keller's website. He's a pad technician, and frequent poster on sci.space.shuttle.
Maybe they have decided to target Linux (along with alot of the other free software) because it seems to be making significant progress on so many different fronts.
From small devices (PDAs, palmtop computers, appliances like webpads and the Tivo ), all the way to the top end market (big iron like the S390, large beowulf clusters). Combined with the recent focus of making the Linux desktop a better place for end users, it all helps Linux (and non-Microsoft software in general) gain more ground.
The fact that they can't turn around and use any GPL code for their projects (without releasing their source, which they aren't about to do) makes it even more frustrating.
Actually, it looks like the PR folks are already starting up the spin machine. In this new article on CNET, the ground rules of "Change something you shouldn't have access to" are listed. It goes on to mention that the guestbook had been changed. The article then quotes a director of marketing for MS: "That's an application, not Windows 2000," he said.
"It's been up for most of the day today," he added.
The CDDL is based off of the Mozilla license.
There's a FAQ on the new OpenSolaris site about licensing here:

Along with a summary of the changes from the Mozilla license:

And a redlined diff of what exactly has changed between the MPL and the CDDL (in a pdf file):

Now that's comedy.
