The Commodore 64 was awesome. I had hundreds of games for that thing. I used to think there was only one command for that thing:
load "*",8,1 (or something like that)
I believe the C64 also gave birth to software piracy. I don't think I owned a single title for it. I would buy a box of blank single sided 5 1/4" floppies and use my handy tool to cut a notch out of the side to make it double-sided. Then I would go to the neighbor's house and have a field day copying every game he had.
The only thing I didn't like about the C64 was waiting what seemed like hours for a "good" game to load.
MTV is not known for good TV in my book. All their shows are terrible and occasionally they show a crappy video.
They have a chance to change turn this all around. I think this movie would be very intersting if they focus more on Fanning's transition from college life to the startup of Napster.
Everyone knows what happens after Napster hit it big. I'm more interested in the startup side of Napster, before they were a success.
