Doesn't this kinda make you think of their new Mira device that is on it's way out. Perhaps they were thinking ahead. Since it will of course provide this sort of functionality but will no doubt be "licensed" to do so. Lock out or attempt to discourage third party manufacturers/developers of similar devices unless they pay the Microsoft tax. I dunno maybe not.
