The track ball 50 years old and the times are changing with the intoduction of Optical technology. The better responce and not having to clean make this kind of mouse the best friend of a lazy man (less movment of the hand and no cleaning). Not saying I am not a fan of track ball. I like to make things harder by playing UT, with a 2 button mouse, online and still doing rather well.
