I completly disagree with this guy. He obviously doesn't go to any high-end bar that's as busy as "hell in the 21st century." Take 5 minutes and watch a bartender, they blow a multi-threaded kernel right out of the water. Bartenders are quintessential multitaskers, and they do effectivly and well.
One tool can have multiple uses. Just look at a swiss army knife, it can do a whole bunch of things, but it's only one tool. Computers ARE tools, they're made to work on, and to advance on. If you think otherwise, you should go outside for a while.:P
I dont hate apple or anything, i have one, an iBook. but the fact is when i got OSx.2 installed with that new apple X11 fully quartz enhanced shit, glxgears only gets 70fps while my two year old PC gets 900+FPS so i couldn't give a flying rats bum as to what's technologically superiour. All i know is that my PC is faster.
oh, and p.s. i work in a used mac store, and i can honestly say that there's no lifeform lower than a mac zealot.
