Yes, absolutely ridiculous. I have recently ATTEMPTED to sign up Pipex. The initial availability check said my house is ADSL enabled (Docklands, near Canary Wharf). However, the detailed BT check suggested my phone line is not capable of using ADSL yet. I wonder if Docklands in London is not getting ADSL, where else is BT concentrating on? I wonder whether they are just restricting the bandwidth to business, instead of to home user.
Well, we should all keep in mind there's a lot of Linux distribution around. The Zaurus linux might not be the cup of tea for everyone, but it doesn't equate to what Linux is all about. Certainly, saying linux is not for PDA is a bit of an over-generalisation.
