Well, does it really matter? I enjoy the movies very much - just the way they are. I don't need any background knowledge who wrote what and why. Many times art lies in the eye of the beholder - not necessarily in those of the artist. Or would you say that a beautiful piece of art is less beautiful just because the original artist didn't intend to create what many people see in it?
