I once won a Nintendo championship here in WA state back in 85. The game consisted of mario, rad racer, and of course, Tetris. However, the game wheighted the points the heaviest on Tetris.
I love that game! Still do!
It's a classic, like Metroid and Zelda.
My first thoughts are that smaller HD cables aren't really that big of an improvement, not enough for me to purchase new hd's to replace existing ata-100/133 drives.
Actually I've been using round IDE cables from

They work wonderfully and take up significantly less space. You also get some cooling benefits as well due to better airflow for you overclockers and people with many hd's installed...
Well I used to do a lot of shopping here at a local small shop called "ComputerStop", which you can visit on the web at www.compstop.com. My main reason to visiting them rather than looking on pricewatch.com or pricegrabber.com was for the 'instant gratification factor'. Basically, I'm the type of guy who sometimes still likes to walk into a store, look at the products, and just pick one. Whether or not I can save $3 by ordering online doesn't cross my mind when I'm in this mode.
I'd recommend possibly playing in on the tech-geek aspect by supplying high-end hardware, such as new GF4 vid. cards, new socket478 cpu's, etc..
My second recommendation would be to provide good service. My largest complaint w/ compstop was the degraded service as their store got bigger and bigger (now they have two stores..) What especially pisses me off, is the fact that most of their parts are only warranteed for 30days, some less, such as processors and ram. This is horrible!!!! After the 30 day period, you are stuck hassling with the manufacturors directly, which is a total pain, such as when dealing with Asus or Gigabyte for example. If you could somehow offer longer warantees, say a year on parts like vid. cards, sound cards etc etc, I'd be interested in shopping at your store!
A bit off the subject I know, but has anyone else noticed an increased u/l cap on their at&t cable modem service within the past week. Mine has been stuck at 128kbps since it was scooped up by at&t. Looks as if I've been bumped up to 256kbps.
Not complaining here, but it does seem to be an odd move on their part in light of the recent restrictions placed on broadband connections by at&t.
I wonder if hosting Halo on my xbox violates the acceptable use policy..... or now, 2 xboxes..

Can anyone recommend some good general use (word docs, text docs, etc.) crypt/decrtyp applications for OSX? For the PC?
You are such a l00s3r! Just make sure you wipe the keyboard after you are done staring at her picture.
