While I understand it makes for an interesting article, I'm not sure it's a good idea to post the code of a worm or other virus. The reason is that it only makes it easier for other people who want to write similar viruses.
You may say that anyone could figure out how to write a virus, anyway. While that might be true, by making the source to these worms freely available, you're putting the information out there more. If I was the editor of Wired, I'd have some serious troubles with publishing this.
I understand that there's a freedom of speech and there's nothing that can actually prevent them from publishing this. But is there really anything good that can come from further disseminating the source code of a worm? It's possible, but unlikely.
Just my two cents.
The Republican party has a solution for these companies to stop job losses and profit loss.
1) Take away your rights with a new PATRIOT Act
2) Give tax cuts to the wealthy
3) PROFIT!!!
