To get info on how to cancel an aol account you use KW:cancel. I don't know about earthlink as it's been a long time since i've used them. Aol, however, i used recently when my cable connection was out for a week. Emergency dial up. Basically, when calling AOL cancellations it's their job to try to disuade you from switching to another provider or cancelling outright. Which sounds about normal, most businesses don't want to lose your subscription so it's only logical that they do this. That representative you reached sounded none too nice although. Innapropriate. I've called on a couple occasions, and they seemed nice enough, but that's just my experience. Had to hold like 15 minutes, but I just put it on speakerphone and worked on a new wallpaper. No biggie. Just remember, KW:CANCEL, and stick to your guns if you really want to cancel.
