well, most benchmarking tests i saw just basically concluded that with today's x86 CPUs (Athlon's 266FB, P4 I don't know) you basically don't get a real, noticeable boost in your daily work.
So guess that was stuck in my head.:)
Na, great... With the advent of even newer RAM on the horizon, it leaves me puzzled when processor development will close the gap - DDR333 didn't perform too well with nowadays' processors.
