DNSCON (website is http://www.dnscon.org) is quite a good and affordable computer security conference held every august in Blackpool, UK. Entrance costs about £15 (around $30 dollars) It's run by a very knowlegeable guy called Jonathon Wignall. Its open to all (both security professionals and members of the public.)
