I'm about to graduate from HS, so I'll give my experience. Most kids where I go don't know about programming other than its gotta be hard. Some people do program their TI-83, including me. For us its interesting; everyone else just wants the program. I am interested in programming on computers; however, there's nothing that I can really think of to go after. I've downloaded the VB, VC++, and VC# express editions from Microsoft, and have all the tools installed on my Ubuntu partition. Like I said before, I just don't have an idea of what to go after.
Remember SeaQuest, it used to be on NBC and was on Sci-Fi for a while. In one of the season premiers, the captain was speeding along on his motorbike and on the side of the road was a speed detector that would scan the license plate and then send the info over to a sort of driving offence center, which would immediately call the driver and deduct the offence amount from their Social Security.
Thats the future folks, .
I don't believe the gov can take your whole computer. They can only copy files from the hard drive to another. They aren't *supposed* to turn the machine on or anything like that. Its tampering with evidence. Theres a reason they have those big black vans, they gotta have plenty of room for that big machine that copies the data from the hard drive they got to the one they have extra.
Oh well, who knows? Its something I learned on TLC.
dammit, one minute after posting that, i look at www.xboxhacker.net and see that neo may be doin a new client. i would check the neo site out, but unfortunately, the site will not load for me, again
Actually, that'd be fun to just have a few of those, IMO. Since cd-rs usually have rebates now, you end up paying practicially nothing ($1.34 I think if 5% of $20 is $1 and stamps are $0.34). But any-how, the chance of me getting one of those is in the slim-to-none range.

Another thing to waste time at work looking at. If this gives me bad karma, so be it.
