Well, it would be rather difficult to find lifeforms that work with an unknown chemistry, I suppose. At least if what you are looking for is microbe sized and you only have a robot probe in place.
The reason they can't get laid is that most of the men are unromantic, selfish, uncaring, and have no respect for women basically. The only reason why foreigners get laid is because they are the exact opposite of Japanese men, and have blonde hair.
To be romantic, unselfish and caring helps you get laid? That's news to me!

I block ads on websites for pretty much the reasons given by others. In real life it isn't that easy of course, but:
1.Magazines that consist of 50% ads and still cost a pretty penny, I don't buy! (Also it seems, these hardly treat any topics I'm interested in!)
2.The leaflets in the magazines usualy stay in the store. In the dustbin, if they have on, on the shelf if they don't.
3.TV - Well, I don't have a TV! Braindead commercials being one reason among many ;-)
