Building Skynet??? The Skynet satellite was built years ago by Matra Marconi Space (now called Astrium), from memory it was primarily a military comms satellite. (as a side note, I worked there on contract a few years ago and one of the systems guys had a copy of "Terminator: Skynet" on his PC. Strangely disturbing.)
Equifax should have no hand in your credit rating. They collate the information about your credit HISTORY and let finance companies access that data to score you on how high a risk you are.
If your credit history sucks, you caused it. If it is wrong, challenge it. All "credit agencies" have a legal obligation to correct the information, if it is brought to their attention as incorrect.
Fake or not, if they haven't patched IIS already then they are probably too clueless to not worry unduly about their box powering off. They'll just power it back on, and not check the IIS logs or the system event viewer to see WTF was going on.
If landmines are used during wartime indescriminately, then NATO/UN/ should force the armed force that deployed them in the first place to clear them up.
