Given that it takes such a low takeup rate to make spam profitable, perhaps there is a slightly larger chance that a Trump supporter would click through and they are upping their profits that way.

I think the key to your second point is "all the parts of a compilation or derivative work constitute one work" so the unit of measure is an album, and not a song or portion thereof. Hey look I copied from your copied copyrighted legal code... Doug

The one application I have been waiting for along these lines is what if you want to OCR something that you simply can't put in a scanner? Camera -> WiFi -> service -> OCR -> ?. The lighting issues make it mach harder on the OCR software, so it needs to be much smarter than it was the last time I tried, but from there I have a ton of applications. Doug

I know many that have made the same switch (Also in Edmonton) including myself, but the reason is that Telus's support is about 10 times quicker to pick up the phone. I spent ~15 hours on hold over a week that my service was out the last week I was with Shaw. I don't spend more than 10 minutes getting through to Telus.

Possibly the bandwidth limits affect some, but it is the crappy customer service that is the killer for most.

    >manufacturers do this? Concidering the only parts in my systemsthat make ANY noise (outside of sound hardware of course) are fans. Nothing else in the computer really makes alot of noise.

    >Disks make some sound yes, but very little. And they are definatly drowned out by the sound of the fans. I cant think of any other devices in my computers that DO make noise except for fans and drives with moving parts now that i think about it.

They are talking about electical noise not audible noise.
