twitter writes "Citing security flaws that lead to ads and spys on Microsoft infested computers the BBC in this article recomends avoiding Internet Explorer." Ain't it the truth? Mostly its about adware & spyware and other wretched bits of software that make the internet suck a little more each day.

I read several of Sheffield's novels in middle school; although I loved his books, I thought that he was just some obscure author that nobody else knew about. Flash forward many years...imagine my surprise when I happened to stumble upon this headline on Slashdot..
I had no idea that he was such a prolific and amazing individual. Rest in peace, Mr. Sheffield.
