Caffeine works, but it is not a medication that works consistently for 16 hours. And, for the length of time it does work, it works strongly at the start and then tails off.
When you take ADHD medication, you are taking a specific dosage at specific times and the medication lasts for well known lengths of time.
You are right that all scientific fact is the result of consensus. But, it's not a consensus of public opinion. It's a consensus of the people who are knowledgeable in that area. If you have 1000 people and only 100 of them have PhDs in Physics, then even if the other 900 disagree, the opinions that matter are the opinions of those 100 physicists. Anyone who thinks this is unfair is free to get a PhD in Physics or a BS in Physics or even just work with other physicists for years. Once they do then their opinion will matter.
This is what "peer reviewed" means. It doesn't mean reviewed by random people. It means it was reviewed by people knowledgeable in the relevant area.
Just use "-" to remove results you don't want.
So, if "teen" returns too many results that involve sex, just do "teen -sex" and no pages with the word sex will be returned.
This morning I logged in and about 70 our of 120 messages were spam. This is pretty normal for me. It's no big deal though because I use Mailwasher Pro which tends to get most of it. It's still mildly annoying to click through about 5 to 10 spam messages, but regardless, I didn't see a spam reduction.
Why does this service have to include all new songs? This service would work just fine for those who just want to listen to 1000s of older songs at a cheaper price than we can currently get.
So those that want the newest songs can go out and waste their cash. Those that can wait a few months can use this service and save a lot of money.
Why don't they just have flight attendants walk up and down the aisle with a gaussmeter? If a device emits too much EM radiation then they can tell the passenger to shut it off. Otherwise they can let everyone use their devices.
#1 You can prune all the losing moves. That undoubtedly makes up the vast majority of those positions.
#2 That 1.0E+143 number is the raw number of positions. That information is probably very compressable.
#3 You wouldn't need to store all the positions simultaneously. The computer could just recompute the positions when you get far enough into the movement tree.

A couple of points:
#1 You can prune all the losing moves. That undoubtedly makes up the vast majority of those positions.
#2 That 1.0E+143 number is the raw number of positions. That information is probably very compressable.
