I myself use OpenOffice.org for MS Office compatibility but I also bought Lotus SmartSuite 9.7 on eBay. I just use it for word processing, it fits my needs perfectly.
When I was growing up I never watched american soccer and baseball, I always watched NFL and NBA. I still watch NFL and NBA but I also watch soccer. Guess what, I still don't watch baseball. Nobody I know watches MLB, its too boring. They just read the scores in the paper while they're in the shitter. Hopefully the MLB goes out of business so America can get a new pastime. I think my favorite sport now is soccer.
My brothers duron 1ghz, 192 mb ram, and gf3 ti200 runs GTA 3 WAY better than my 1.2ghz, 384mb ram, and radeon 9000 pro. This to me, suggest the game is optimised for nvidia video cards. His comp runs the game at 1024 x 768 x 32 and there is only the occasional stutter which from what I've read is due to the crappy programming. My computer, on the other hand feels like a slideshow. Every other game I have though, my comp runs them faster than my bro's.
When I was in the 8th grade (1994) I thought I would get away by copying and pasting from my Grolier Encyclopedia which I had installed on family's Packard Bell 486 SX 25 mhz, 4 mb ram, 2x cdrom lol. Anyways, I did it in a hurry and I forgot to remove the copyright notices lol. Right before I turned it in I noticed that I forgot to delete them so I got some white-out and said to myself, "Teacher won't noticed". Well, guess what I got a D on the paper and the teacher had a little talk with me whic basically said im not as stupid as you think.
Well if im not mistaken the computers at my school were locked with fortress. You can't click on anything but the internet explorer and a folder they made where you can access your saved documents. They left the address bar available though in IE and the folder though....lol. Anyways, its frustrating to me that a 5th grader can already make a webpage and yet I don't have one.

Well at Best Buy I always see PNY and Visiontek. Hercules doesn't make cards with Nvidia anymore, they are with Ati now.
So what about my Xtasy GF3 Ti200 lifetime warranty? I already replaced the fan on it with a Blue Orb because the fan was spinning very slowly.
