I work as a net/server admin and we are kinda like the red-headed step child of the company. No one notices us when everything is working, but as soon as something goes down...

And sorry if i offend any red-heads out there who also may or may not be a step child.
As one who attended a State of Illinois school, I did find out that once or twice a year they have a huge auction in Springfield where they will sell off old stuff including computers. I do also know that a lot of the stuff we sent down from Northern Illinois, was very old and had been striped of anything usable before we would let it go.
I you can contact someone in a materials mgmt department they should be able to give you that information.
Everyone on version 1.0 is never that great and they will have a second version out in a few months... Why not just wait and see how it works out first?
I always wonder what are the costs associated with a website onces its/.ed? I wonder how many small sites we have taken out and also how much bandwith we spike. Once this is figured out someone should sell/. insurance.
Ever seen what happens to a CRT when a Nextel phone rigns? The picture gets all wavey and the speakers near it click before the phone rings. This happens all the time to me and it freaks out everyone i know. Its get to be able to answer a phone before it rings as well.
