>Copying a CD, making a mix disc for your
>girlfriend, having a group of people watch one
>copy of a videotape, loaning CDs to friends,
>these are all legally fuzzy.
Good thing all those activities are legal were I live. Of course, it requires that I own the original of the music I mix for my girlfriend, doesn't charge admitance for the people that watch my videotape (nor do a public performance of it) and so on.
That is why it is nice to live in a country (Sweden) were it IS legal to make copies for "private use". Private use includes for example, making copies to close friends or relatives (computer software being an exception). Thus it is perfectly legal to copy a music CD for my friend. Of course, he can't in turn make copies to his friends since he doesn't own the original.

Next she will probably claim that preventing pop-up ads are stealing too, or skiping directly to the sports pages while reading the paper. Gee.
