As a network administrator who lives in Colorado and deals with the daily deluge of SPAM that floods my corporate email server I raise my glass in salute to the lawmakers who are diligent enough to carry on the Colorado No Call tradition and carry it to SPAM email.
I would suggest that any of you who do not live in a state with a Do Not Call list law that you get involved in the ole political process and get a law passed in your state. I live in Colorado which just started a DNC list about a year ago and dinner time is a pleasant event again. I went from 4 to 5 telemarketers a day to 1 last month and I threatened to turn the company in to the State Attorney General if they called again. You can make a difference in your state!
I bothered to say what I did because my experience with WD has not been a pleasant one. I have had numerous WD drives that have died with critical data and applications stored on them. After switching to using Seagate exclusively I haven't had one drive fail. If you have never had a WD drive fail on you then you must lead a charmed life.
Western Digital drives, especially the Caviar series, are the WORST drives ever made. Anyone who has used Western Digital to any degree has heard the WD "bang of death" right before losing all of their data. Seagate is all I will use.
