Considering that the review was written by David Pogue who's books include "Mac OS X: The Missing Manual, Second Edition", "iMovie3 &iDVD: The Missing Manual", "iPhoto 2: The Missing Manual", "Windows XP Home Edition: The Missing Manual", "Switching to the Mac: The Missing Manual", "Windows XP Pro: The Missing Manual", and of course "Mac OS X: The Missing Manual, Panther Edition", he seems to know his stuff.
I just ordered a 15" 867 over the weekend, Apple emailed me saying that they updgraded it to the new model. Check your email, they should be doing this as long as yours hasn't shipped yet.
Apple already had to pay the Beatles once they added sound to their computers making them in the "music" business. They would probably still be covered by that.
Film GIMP is just a modified version of the GIMP meant to be useful in touching up individual frames in a film. Premiere is a video editing program, it's features do not cross over much to those of film GIMP, so Film GIMP is not an alternative to Premiere.

They might have officially been released by Capitol Records, but the following cd's actually do have the apple label: Beattles 1 Abbey Road The Beattles Let It Be Anthology 1 Anthology 2 Anthology 3 Straight Up
