I do not think there is a Jelly Bean version of the Intel_x86 system image yet. The newest seems to be an Android 4.0.4 version. Hopefully there will be a JB 4.1.1 system image soon as working with the Intel_x86 emulator is very fast.
According to the Anandtech article, only the pretty much end-of-life Windows XP is out of luck.
Linux, OS X and modern Windows versions all work...

ASUS's version of UASP is not very new. They announced it late 2011 already here: http://event.asus.com/mb/2010/the_best_usb3_experience/The_UASP_For_USB3.0.htm The drivers it requires are from October 2011.
