Not all creationists are trolls who go into science forums and talk about non-science. Your average creationist is usually a meek person who keeps to themself. If people want to believe in Santa Claus, the tooth fairy, or that a new drug can dramatically increase the size of their genitals; let them.
I used to think I was a creationist because I believed that the hand of God was behind the big bang . Then I met "creationists" who thought the earth was only 4000 years old. After wondering whether I was a true creationist for a while, I decided that these people aren't creationists but are luddites who attend churches.
I think I am in the majority of people who buy cpus. Basically, you don't get enough of a performance boost from buying a 200 dollar more expensive chip to justify buying it.
The last chip I bought was an athlon xp 1700+. I can't foresee needing anything faster for a good while (unless I go nuts and decide to run WinXP and play Doom3 while running a seti client with realtime priority).
Worse yet, your typical business computer still does not need anything faster than 500mhz. AMD and Intel in their race to make faster chips have far exceeded the requirements of business and obsoleted the parts they really need.
Intel, bringing you the cutting edge technology of 1979 for over twenty years.
Last I knew, nobody really cared about this except for a few rabid KDE people (the people who raised a ruckus about it in the first place). I think their main beef was that the icons on the desktop for web browsing and email were for moz and evolution in KDE instead of kde apps.
