    Or if they accept that amount in several transactions too close together. In fact that flags the transactions as even more suspicious and you have to fill out even more paperwork.

    Because odds are most of those transactions are parts of crime, or the people doing them will not mind filling out the forms.

    Why should banks be allowed to profit from crimes?

    The Euro is another currency that millions of people accept and pay taxes with. Bitcoins are not.

    Amazon does not take bitcoin. Someone is converting that to pay amazon USD. They will regulate the one doing the conversion.

    You might want to think so, but it is a flaw with both of those devices.

    If the user wants to install malware that is no different than any other application. The user having control is more important that protecting the system from him.

    Until another such flaw is found.

    Nothing is perfect, this sort of DRM being the least likely to be perfect. You are trying to secure a device against its owner.

    Append on a computer the user is allowed to own and the statement is true again.

    This is removing the ability to use your own devices as you see fit.

    They don't only remove malware, they also remove useful tools. This is why iOS has no good wifi scanning tools for example.

    Things like this have happened and users have done it.

    They get an email telling them about free applications if they visit this website with their iphone. This was back when a webpage could do a jailbreak.

    The cold war was not a war, so I am not sure how that factors into it.

    They might have been guilty of espionage, I am not sure how it goes to the level of treason unless they also plotted to overthrow the government.

    Then you tell the user to do a jailbreak. Sure it might not always work, but conning users is conning users.

    I would rather take the risk, than have my ability to own my computers stolen from me.

    Not at all.

    Blame the buggy OS is when you get a nice drive by install or virus. Adware that requires a user to install is always the users fault.

    I would put .243 at the bottom of the deer capable list. .270 would make me feel a lot better.

    Deer did not become tougher, we became more concerned with animal welfare. It simply is not ethical to take deer with rounds that might not get the job done. I am glad to hear you have so far had good luck with that setup, I can't say I would want to take that risk.

    And luck, luck, luck.

    If the round fails to expand well, or any other manner of things go wrong all you have done is but a .22 size hole in a deer lung. I prefer not to risk wounding.

    This is totally false.

    That guy with the reprap has saved maybe $400 tops. He still has to buy all the other parts. So far only lowers and magazines are 3d printable. So far there is no evidence of that changing soon.

    Sure you can buy barrels without an action.

    The serials match to prove the gun was built that way, not some cobbled together crap.

    Threaded barrels are legal, they are used for muzzlebrakes more than suppressors. Suppressors are also legal if you go get the tax stamp and paperwork done. $200 and a few months waiting.

    No, they would go to some other less lethal device.

    You can't switch to long guns and explosives as they are not easily concealed.

    In bear country I would also carry. I bow hunt in areas with bears and someone in the group tends to bring along a shotgun just in case.

    I just can't agree with that.
    I have seen deer run hundreds of yards after being hit in the vitals with .308 modern ballistic tip ammo. An ethical kill should be as quick as is reasonably possible. Unless your are putting lead into the brainpan .223 does not to me see an ethical choice.

    For coyotes it would be fine.
