    If you want to use the product pay for it. It really is that simple. You could also use something else.

    Not true.
    This was covered in recent law suits over CAD software. The license requires sales to non-family.

    The same way you find one in the States.

    Puerto Vallarta is a great tourist destination, I have been there and will go again, and as such has very good medical care. I have not however ever had medical treatment there, but would consider it if need be.

    Here in the USA too. The only place you find libertarians is on the internet.

    This is because those who are active in local/state/federal politics and voting are generally older and have property. They see the importance of a nice neighborhood, good fire, police and schools. This is because of the impact of losing those things would have on property values.

    The companies can just not give the unions what they want. Sure they will lose some money during a strike, but union members have to eat.

    The reality is the modern corporation is mortgaged to the hilt, and thus in a situation where any lockout could put it in to bankruptcy as it can no longer service its debts. That is again not the fault of the union but of the executives.

    If I lose my job or are forced onto a unpaid leave I will not be expecting my landlord/mortgage company to lower their charges nor will the electric company do that either.

    How about you stop violating the license and pay for the retail copy like you are supposed too?

    The OEM license is for machines that will be sold only.

    It was never legit. The license forbids it.

    German court decisions are about as valid in the USA as martian court decisions. In the US reselling licenses is not been held up as legal.

    Sure you could get it, but then you might as well pirate the OS.

    Don't blame a union for the stupid decisions of management.

    Bankruptcy is the right course for this, keeping all the pilots is pointless.

    I agree on both.

    The reality is though the retirement age should be in the 70s by now. People should not be spending 20+ years retired.

    While that is totally true, we could just try a couple less wars, or raising the retirement age, or any number of sane ideas to pay for something this small.

    At this point as the US gov can borrow money at negative rates, we might as well do that.

    If you want to complain call the diocese. That should not be happening. Their policy is to teach evolution in science class. The Catholic church mandates that. /Former catholic //worked in such a school in Rochester many moons ago.

    What city was this?

    I know in Rochester and Buffalo the Catholic schools teach evolution in science class and only cover genesis in theology class.

    Unlike the baptist schools in the area, which are what you would expect from that bunch of crazies.

    That is not driving without insurance, that is called self insuring. You can do that in every state I know of.

    It would take about 50 years though for me to save enough insurance premiums to be able to self insure, if that is the measure you want to use.

    Should they also provide water and trash collection at no cost?

    People did want this, I know I did. Mandatory insurance means there is someone to pay for the damages that I can sue.
