Then don't buy them all at once, if you think anyone actually cares. As a kid I bought sulfur, salt peter and charcoal at one time. No one said a thing.
Too high a level. Solve the problem with only NAND Gates and some bits of wire.
Actually most CS folks and programmers in general could badly use a lesson in the hardware underneath it all. Does not mean you should toss out programming languages though.
With more investment rail would meet that need. If the transportation industry did not get to externalize this cost so much they would make the switch and investment in rail would go up.
The remaining trucking fleet would use far shorter routes, for a good example look to your counterparts in Europe. As the investment in rail increased more and more rail destinations would be opened and again truck routes would be reduced in number and shortened in distance.
10 beeves would correct English. A beef is a beef cattle. Beef is used for both the flesh of cattle, as in "one pound of beef" and for the animal itself in "There is a beef in that field".
A good interim solution would be to stop taxing per axle and tax by mass per axle. This would mean trucks would have more axles and thus greatly reduce road wear.
What wears out roads is mass per axle. This is a well known phenomenon. Not only do trucks have more mass per axle than cars by far, they are taxed per axle so they load each axle the maximum amount.
Road damage increases much more than proportionately with vehicle weight on a road surface. For example, if Vehicle A weighs 48,000 pounds and Vehicle B weighs 4,000 pounds, the damage done to the road by Vehicle A is far more than 12 times the damage done by Vehicle B.
No, most goods are delivered by vehicles burning diesel. Most of those are quite a bit heaver than cars and do far more road damage. They should really bear most of this tax burden, but they do not as they have powerful lobbies. If the tax burden on them reflected their use, they would convert to rail and we would end up paying lower taxes and not much more for goods.
Cars put very little burden on road paving. Trucks are what damage roads. Tax them more and shipping will move to more efficient rail. Right now shippers are being subsidized by gas taxes providing them with low cost roads.
Note I said when I can. This is not some "Oh noes teh jews, thing", this is me not wanting to support either side is what is a terrible conflict. Both sides are equally crappy and I will avoid supporting either one when I can. If I cannot then I will just try to do it to the minimum amount.
Would that apply to me though? I am not participating in a foreign boycott, I am boycotting both sides in a conflict that I cannot morally support. My purpose is not to hurt Israel. It is to prevent my dollars from being used by either side to further this blood for blood, tit for tat, barbarian bullshit.
The problem is he buys cheap shit and is surprised when it is cheap shit. Apple has many goods made by foxxcon, people say this is high quality stuff. Foxxcon also makes some of the worst crap you could plug into the wall. Foxxcon makes what the vendor orders. Vendors order that stuff because that is what their customers buy. Sure the Customers may claim to want quality goods, but when they vote with their dollars they vote for cheap crap.
Then I never buy from that supplier again. Seems simple enough. I would also though support laws doing the same for use of child labor, environmental issues or labor abuse. We need to level the playing field so that US producers can compete. Otherwise we are just exporting our child labor, pollution and low wages.
WTF? Can you please give some more information about this? It seems my purchasing habits should not be of any concern of the government so long as I am not buying illegal things.
Yet somehow when I work with people from India if they are employed by my company or a customer I can say their name?
Giving a fake name is like starting a conversation with "I am a liar nice to meet you." It would be better if they said "Hello this is Bhagavateeprasaad with $Company, you can call me $shortend_version."
Bullshit. I am a linux users and arguably fanboy, I dislike MS and their products. I do not allow their products in my home, outside of their mice. This seems like a good idea, American companies should not have to compete with people who pirate software to lower their costs. No reason those companies can't switch to FREE software if this were to become law.
Then don't buy them all at once, if you think anyone actually cares. As a kid I bought sulfur, salt peter and charcoal at one time. No one said a thing.
KVM has done live migration for ages now. Passing usb in kvm is quite easy, heck you can do it with qemu commands if you want.
Sounds like you are out of touch with reality.
How do you do a server with virtual box, preferably with a minimum of command line
You don't belong near a server.
Lots of people do. KVM is what RHEL uses and pretty much everyone else as well. Xen is dead.

The internet is not for children, .com is not for children and learning about sex is not going to even harm children. Get over it.
Because they have not noticed that IBM abandoning them and KVM removing the need for them means they are dead. Give them time.
Just like me to fuck that up. I meant of course; 10 beeves would be correct English.

Yes, by a lot. A fully loaded truck goes 80,000lbs, my car is just a hair over 2,000lbs.

Stop buying the cheapest shit money can buy. They sell that because that is what people buy.

No need to sue. Either they pay you back or you get your parts somewhere else.

Nothing stopping that street vendor from using a different product or paying for his MS software.
