i can say that these kind of distros are for those who want to play with their linux, to those who wont regret if their system crash, to those who love to update their system everytime without knowing what will happen after their updated the whole box.
my slackware dont need to update regularly because i know i have a better and tested distro, i do upgrade when its needed..

I am not sure that is a good thing (for Slackware) though. ;)
The good thing is that even dependencies thing will be in your control, i dont like to install 1 package then in the end i will get tons of packages.
