I don't believe that this spam was a netbios related.
I was on www.foxnews.com and if you leave it up for 5 min or so with javascript turned on it pops up. I think its just an add that looks like a windows message. (Just tested it on my bsd box and it pops up !)
Guess that goes in the tricky spam bucket.
