Although you may "work" at the University of Colorado, you DO NOT work in group performing compilation research for the Itanium systems.
And simply stated, you don't know what you are talking about.
Please come by Prof. Connors' office (yeah, that's me) if you want to familiarize yourself with Itaniums, until then, you should probably refrain from making up lies or stating facts about computer systems, universities, research groups, etc.
I'd even go so far to say you won't have the nerve to introduce yourself to me or to the students performing Itanium/EPIC-based research at the University of Colorado.
