As a bank, they rock compared to the US parent (I know, I've worked on both sides of the pond) but their online banking is restricted to IE/Netscape only.
I mailed them and asked why they specifically restrict to IE/nutscrape but the best they could come up with was that 85% of their traffic was from IE and they *weren't* restricting other browsers... Just check your javascript dumbasses!
The only thing that works for me on Mac OS X.2 is IE... Omniweb, Mozilla (and Chimera but that's essentially Moz as well) both load up blank login pages.
This is the only reason I use IE. I'm sure some (admittedly not very many...) of that 85% are doing the same.
If the banks don't support the standards then it's hardly a shock when certain browsers become the dominant way of accessing their services.
Well it is running under software emulation (Rosetta), it's bound to be slow! At least Office 2007 *should* be Universal Binary when it arrives.
1. Manufacture tin foil feet coverings 2. ??? 3. Profit!!!
