It's kinda funny that after SCO said the GPL was invalid they announced that They were including Samba 3 in the next release of their crapware.
Option 1
So if the GPL is valid and they released thier code in the kernel under the GPL, effectively giving it away and now conning companies to pay them for free software
therefore: SCO = thieves
Option 2
The GPL is invalid as SCO have claimed and they are including samba code that they have no right to
therefore: SCO = thieves

(checks grammar)
Yeah, D'oh!
Wrong on both counts. I guess I'll crawl back under my rock with my tail between my legs and wait for the next opportunity to embarrass myself

I'd have a go myself but me programming something isn't good for anyone....
But the debacle surrounding the greek font on the powerpoint slides proved that SCO have absolutely no idea where their code came from.
I think that the lawyers got involved believing that the case was a lot stronger than it has since been shown to be.
Mr Boies is probably mighty pissed off with little Darl right now...
I'll agree that RedHat isn't ready for the desktop...
or server...
Come on, it's not like their hardware protection is worth a damn.
Me: The server is faulty
Dell support: It's a software problem
Me: One NIC works and the other's stopped
Dell support: It's a software problem
Me: There's smoke coming out of it
Dell support: It's a software problem
I use the Linux Groupwise (Beta) client - it makes the windows one seem fast.
They're moving all the client stuff onto Java, but the admin stuff is moving to web based...
GW is pretty bad but the file serving still rocks...

So what you're saying is that Disney don't want their most famous character being used by any old mickey mouse outfit...
If Pro is the opposite of Con, what is the opposite of Progress?
