I considered doing that a few years ago. Actually, I wanted to use inertial sensors to track relative position with good acuracy and then use GPS to nail down some absolute positions. Someone sitting with a laptop could click on icons indicating road type in real time too. I just wanted to make a videogame with I-696 in Detroit, so I could go over the standard 80-90 MPH.
It sounds like a typical large american corporation. Total lack of leadership higher up. Those guys are too out of touch with what the organization is doing to have any real impact. Then, as often happens, the few people who really care get frustrated and leave - this happens at all levels. BTW, this tends to happen less at companies that promote from within, rather than import a management team from XYZ corp. I'd expect better from a non-corporate organization though.
"The amount of eye contact you recieve" reflects the amount of interest other people have in YOU. Obviously if the group is more willing to look at you they'll let you participate more. I wonder how much eye contact these guys get from women.
Anyone who's read "how to win friends and infulence people" know you score points by paying attention - making eye contact is the first step in that.
So if I buy a Sony CD and it doesn't work in my Sony CD player, which product will they claim is incompatible? They make both, and created the format in the first place.
I recall reading that they claim the CDs are within spec and not the players. What's going to happen when I try these in my Sony? A CD produced by a Sony subsidiary? It's the player... No, it's the CD... I don't care, you make them both and it don't work.
Not that I've bought (or downloaded) music in years. It's all crap except for some of the more obscure stuff that doesn't get air time and hence I don't know it exists. I'm gonna puke if I hear that Kelly bitch singing about her self again. Puke on her? I'd pay for a moment like that.
Does this mean people will be tried in secret? They do mention Homeland Security. Does this mean hacking is terrorism? How do they protect the identities of children who are victims? The media often understands their need for privacy, but does a publicly held corporation need that protection? This simply illustrates that stock prices are too dependant on corporate image and not real value.

So how does one go about getting a job at this place? I'm always looking for something cool to work on, and this would qualify.
