  1. Re:Complete Breach of Trust on Examining Microsoft Update · · Score: 1

It's not only a breach of trust - it is THEFT of personal/company/government data.

I am curious to see the first lawsuit.
I am curious to see the reaction of governments (including foreign countries).

  2. AT&T can't stand slashdotting? on Remotely Counting Machines Behind A NAT Box · · Score: 5, Funny
Not even an AT&T host can stand slashdotting?

  3. Time for an anti-RIAA hit? on Finnish Taxi Drivers Must Pay Music Royalties · · Score: 1

Well, maybe it's time for an anti-RIAA hit.

Cab drivers, elevator-music providers, Wall-Mart background music providers and who knows who else could just play this song, instead of the usual music.

Not only it could create public awareness, all royalties from the hit could be used to finance anti-RIAA actions.

    Any independent takers?

  4. Low energy PC? on Mini PC in an Actual Lunchbox · · Score: 2, Interesting

I am looking for a PC - in a lunch-box or in an other box - which has the same, lower energy consumption as notebooks. Ideally less or no more than 60 Watt, as opposed to the standard 150-250 Watt PC power supplies.
    Any recommendations about power-saving PCs?

Mr. AC, You obviously have no the slightest idea about Communism. There are not too many places where you can have first-hand experience anymore, but you still could catch up on the topic by reading about the subject before you talk. Being stupid does not make you a big time capitalist pig, brother.

  7. It's a shame on Salon, Nearly No Money and Ultramercials · · Score: 2, Interesting

It's a shame, because Salon is one of the best news sites ever in America. Salon's editorials and other pieces are just great pieces of journalism, from politics to sex. It's a bit like Wired was in it's best days. I can't think of any similar, independent site with attitude. I keep my fingers crossed for them.
