So if we start taking resources from the moon, on a large scale, won't that cause the earth to increase in mass and the moon to decrease in mass. So, since the total mass is still there, the gravity should be the same. But since the moon would have less mass, would the moon then spin around the earth in a lower/faster orbit or are we just going to mess things up and lose the moon entirely? Is this thought provoking or just funny?
