A Linux port would be good, if there are plans for it. Looks like an interesting tool.
I believe it is always good to start awareness of such issues and the underlying mechanisms thereof at as early an age as the student can cope with the concepts.
The oldest hardware I use on a regular basis is my trusty old 1989 Mac SE/30. It is unchanged from the original except for it having 8Mb RAM in stead of 4. RAMDoubler bumps it to a virtual 16Mb giving it fairly tolerable speeds for WP and spreadsheets.
I pronounce it 'them words', being as I am from the North of England (that's the old England in the Yoo Kay, for those of you who's forefathers (and mothers) came from over here).
As in 'Make a statement using them words and bung it in the database'.
