When we eventually spread into the solar system, I can think of a few good places to put tidal power plants.
Some of the moons of Jupiter might make sense. Io, with it's extreme temperatures and tidal gradient would make a fine geothermal and tidal power location. Europa, has more than enough tidal energy, but likely is too unstable (though Io is not stable either, come to think of it).
Ganymede, would be a good target with it's higher gravity and high surface stability, but strong Jupiter tides.
