In my case it's and MPG3409AT and it's rev. no. is 4. I have another disk with a higher rev. no (6) and it hasn't failed (yet). I have also heared of some other people having problems with this model too.
The problem with this disk is not with the "moving" parts but with the cirucit board as I have tried to change it by the other disk and it worked perfect. I have noticed the tho boards differs in some of the SMD components.
