I have just got my Minidisc recorder (MZR-900) back from repair. 6 weeks wait and 2 repairs later it is back now. I'd say that the quality of equipment has gone down. I did expect it to break one day, but not 14 months after I bought it...JUST out of manufacturers warranty. Good thing I have it covered by an extended warranty;)
