Having had broadband for 3+ years, I find it torture to travel to places where I don't have it. Invariably I get at least one email per day with huge attachments, or have to check something on a web site (like our corporate one!) that takes 20 minutes to find, due to slow page downloading times.
Mind you, given that broadband is so new to most users in the UK (and still SO EXPENSIVE), people's usage habits may be different than in the rest of the world...
