Sorry, this wasn't my question. I know Tivo exists for DirectTV.
What I want to do is create a freevo unit that will allow me to run my DirectTv through my PC from which I then have my PC as the freevo/tivo unit.

Has anyone created a PVR to work with DirecTV?

I tried Tivo - it sucked. The Tivo couldn't change the channel on my DirectTv receivers (RCA).
I still like the PVR concept and was thinking of trying to get it working using freevo and DirecTv. Has anyone else tried this combonaition (I haven't seen any posts on the web concerning this combonation.)
Thanks - Tony
