You've got to be kidding. StarOffice 6.0 is pretty quick. On a E450 ( 1-400mhz US-II CPU 512MB RAM Solaris 9 Gnome 2.0 beta 3 desktop) running around 150 processes with 4 SunRays hanging off of it, StarOffice takes about 5 seconds to load. I don't have a system over 400mhz and I use StarOffice 6.0 everyday.
A nightmare on the other hand is that damn paper clip and the cost of MS Office. I paid about $75 for StarOffice.
