Its because it is a bug in flash's understanding of DOM security. Not myspace's, so hence your attempt at insinuating that they don't know what they're doing is incorrect.

I think the community should respond to this in the same way that we did to verisign...BLOCK IT!
If you don't want a certain IP or User Agent grabbing stuff off your site then make the appropriate entries in your httpd.conf and block it.
I don't know what these would be as I don't know what subnet or User Agent MS is using to crawl.
If somebody knows please post.
