These people should get set up with vmware, it might save them some money. It would definately cut down on cable wiring costs.
It is quite possible that someone without scruples would turn in a hacker who had nothing to do with it, just to get the reward. They could pick any convenient security researcher off of the shelf, plant some evidence, and run with it. Then the analogy holds a tiny bit better.
